From the time we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. The check in process was so easy and the welcome we received was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband was attending a walking football tournament in Saxton. We had to wash uniforms but also had to go to function. I came home and the uniforms were laid out in the bed so they wouldn’t crease. I was so touched by this as it made things so much easier. The apartment was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfy. Location was perfect only a few minutes walk to restaurants and grocery stores. I would not hesitate to stay on our next visit. Highly recommended 😊

Very friendly welcome at reception. We had booked a standard studio. We were unpacking the car into a lovely studio room when, the lady from the front desk came over to offer us a free upgrade to the Presedential Suite which we gratefully accepted. Fantastic accommodation...spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable beds with fresh, crisp linen and plenty of towels. Well equipped kitchen, full range of TV channels and a large bathroom with great shower over a spa bath. Great central location, easy to get to restaurants in town...even walkable if you don't want to drive. Totally recommend the Palazzo...you won't be sorry you booked here.

Excellent condition, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. We encountered a problem in our room, and were immediately moved to another one with no problems. Great management, and friendly staff. Well equipped kitchenettes with 2 burner hob, dishwasher drawer, and microwave. Excellent showers, good sized rooms, smoking area outside each unit, with ashtray provided.

I was told that staying in a motel was an important part of the New Zealand travel experience and I'm so happy that I chose to stay in what definitely deserves to be rated as the best motel in NZ. Everything about the place was just perfect, from the incredibly friendly reception and helpful tips and recommendations to the beautiful, spotless room with every thing you could ever want or need. I actually was quite taken back by how well equipped the kitchen was with everything that one could ever want. Thank you for all of your kindness and a really lovely comfortable stay. I hope to return!

Gorgeous room in Nelson with just what we needed. The jacuzzi bath was a nice surprise! Coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge. This room was comfortable, spacious, and good value for money. The staff were super helpful too. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

By far the best place to stay in Nelson & the Top of the South! The owners have put tremendous effort and thought into making sure you will have a terrific stay @ the Palazzo. The rooms are pristine, bright, modern and stocked with all you could need whether you are staying for one night or a couple weeks. The housekeeping staff was very thorough, friendly and accommodating. The grounds were always clean and well-lit. Should you have any questions regarding places of interest, restaurants or where to find things in Nelson or the surrounding area, the staff is very knowledgeable and has a genuine desire to help. They treat you like friends.

The hosts are super friendly they had great knowledge of the area and great recommendations for places to visit, Location is perfect for a stroll around town close to cafes and town walks. The room was very spacious and clean. Great value for money and awesome facilities. Highly recommend and I would stay again.

This is an excellent motel in a great location in Nelson. The facilities in the rooms were excellent with all the cooking utensils and facilities we required for our 2 night stay. The staff were excellent in providing very useful guidance on places to visit in Nelson and on our onward journey too.
